Speakerphone Info
PolySync 40
(Thanks to BK)
When you receive the pair of PolySync 40 Speakerphones, download the associated management utility to update the Firmware.
Setting them up in tandem
- Follow instructions to pair the two speakerphones
- Then after they're paired, plug one into the USB port
- Test the mic and speaker functions via Zoom preferences
Usage, based on LCC room 237
- Position one of the units near the main presenter. This is the USB connected device.
- Put the other in the middle of the audience seating area. This can easily be picked up and moved around to be closer to any audience speaker.
Tips/Tricks
- When moving a unit, hold it by the edges. This way you will avoid pushing any of the buttons which might mute the mic or change the speaker volume.
- The one that isn't tethered (connected to USB) will be running on batteries. Be sure to recharge it after use.
- We suspect a unit will operate for about 4 hours on a full charge.
- When charging, the white LED strip will glow off and on; it'll stay off when fully charged.
