 +Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. There is a bridge over a koi pond leading to the entrance of the cottage as well as outdoor dining and grilling areas, a fireplace, a pool and jacuzzi just on the other side. As you follow the paths through the property, there is a larger koi pond, a tennis court and a rose garden. The main residence on the property is listed seperately here as well. When both places are full, I stay in my RV in the parking lot.

 +The cottage is situated on the back side of the Palm Paradise Estate in the city of Poway. There are over 400 palm trees and cycads on the estate as well as 50 rose bushes, fruit trees and other luxurious amenities. The cottage itself sits behind a stream and koi pond and it has a quiet serene feel to it. Even though the little stream is going 24/7, if you close the windows, you can't hear it at all. This is a very quiet neighborhood perfect for someone who wants to relax.

 +Guests have full access to the property except for the main house, sheds and the area behind the tennis court where I have an aquaponics garden and a run for our dog. Feel free to sample fruit from the fruit trees or wander the rose garden or play some tennis. You can go in the conservatory if you like, but there are some really prickly things in there, so be careful. Minors should not go in the conservatory.

 +Poway is the city in the country. It is just far enough away from the ocean that there is no salty smell in the air but close enough to everything to still enjoy it.

 +There are horse trails all throughout Poway, so don't be surprised if you see a horse crossing the street in front of you. It really is a city, with a bit of country still in the air. Our mayor even wears a cowboy hat 24/7. Never seen him without it.
